Dara Studio

15 Days Acting Workshop Curriculum

Dara Studio in association with Star actress Pooja Bhatt present first ever an intensive, 15 Day Acting Workshop

Like any other creative art, acting is so much of a craft. An actor needs to learn how to breathe, how to move, how to use voice and how to relax. An actor requires the training of an athlete that deals with body and techniques.

After he has gone through all the exercises that drama schools stipulate, an actor needs to have the experience of putting everything together in front of his audience.

Aspiring actors and actresses should be made aware of all the different schools of acting. They can then choose which approach best suits their temperament.

The acting workshop specifically focuses on helping students to discover the actor in them, provides them with a thorough foundation of acting and makes them understand the basic techniques involved in developing their acting skills. The workshop is for everybody from professionals to students, budding artists and existing actors. This Workshop is ideal for those, who can find time on weekends and want to learn the basics of stagecraft and acting. Spread over at a stretch 15 days (15 sessions), it starts from the essentials of story-development, play-writing, design, direction and moves on to focus on the craft of acting. Apart from acting, the workshop offers a rich mix of theatre activities, readings, analysis, discussions, and performances.

During the course, participants will get a free video showreel of their performance along with a certificate.
Top 15 deserving students from the Workshop will get a chance to begin their dream career with Films / Stage Plays / Short Films / Web series or Music Videos.
